Hey Everyone, My name is Judy and I'm a Ghost Hunteraholic. My obsession started just about 4 1/2 years ago when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I think I was like many other people that were faced with their mortality. I felt the need to know that I could hang around, after I passed, so I could watch my kids grow up. Of coarse, I started watching all the paranormal shows and booked a trip to stay in the Stanley Hotel in Colorado. We stayed 3 nights in the most haunted rooms. I bought some equipment; a recorder, KII, video recorder and a static cam. Of coarse, I didn't know how to use any of it. The funniest part about the trip as I look back now is we never did a real EVP session. I was embarrassed to ask questions even in front of my husband of 24 years. We laugh when we talk about it now. Someday we will go back and do a proper session. We did have a flashlight session with a spirit. I do know that a lot of people think the flashlight sessions are not real and have been debunked, but ours was the real deal, and was the beginning of our obsession with the paranormal. I am lucky because my husband loves ghost hunting as much as I do and we get to use our ghost hunting as our date nights. We definitely have no problem doing EVP sessions with each other now! My husband David and I have been members of PARA-Paranormal Assignment Research Association for over 2 1/2 years now and we both are on the board of our group, and as of just this past week, I stepped up to help lead our group.
